Clematis 'Voluceau'

Large petunia red flowers over a long season. Flowers from May to October (for me!) Does best if not in a cold aspect and can be hard pruned in spring. I am sad that it has not earned an award, I can only assume its lack of recognition is due to its fading in strong sun.

Clematis 'Voluceau' was raised by Girault of France by crossing 'Ville de Lyon' and 'Poupre Mat'
